I think the definition of uniqueness that doesnt require an idea of
sameness to be compared to to be unworkable. just as the word one is
useless unless there is a many to distinguish it from, similarly how could
something be unique without sameness to contrast. Something is unique to
the extent that it is different in every respect. the more respects it is
different in, the more unique it is. I dont agree that there is pure
uniqueness anywhere (in fact,as i said, i think uniqueness is an error)
that we can percieve, but as we do associate properties with things, there
must be something that is the opposite of all those properties. all is
included in exsistance, and in the end, uniqueness is just a word, a
concept, that does not exsist in reality.
