There are some animals that I do consider a possiblity for having
social values (dolphins) but no I do not consider ants having social value.
As for the idea of hardwired how does it violate MOQ.

PIRSIG Annotation #44:
A social pattern which is aware of the next higher level would be
among prehistoric people and higher primates when they exhibit social
learning that is not genetically hardwired but is not yet symbolic.

ELLIOT: But i chose ants so as to establish that simple animals can be part of
the social, as opposed to just "greater primates". Vampire bats have the
largest brain of all bats and have trans-geneticrelationship social type
interactions. Plus, ants seem very social for their small stature, i think
rather than me choosing ants because of the movie, I and the movie both chose
ants because of a greater mythos in this society

ERIN: I was jesting about the movie Antz but since you replied.
I was just curious as to why you focused on ants.
Why not vampire bats, you seem to have a stronger argument.
They seem social for their small stature doesn't seem like a
strong argument.
Disney anthromorphizes lots of animals, it's good entertainment.
I just took my nephew to see Ice Age. Disney is known for entertaining
fantasies
Enjoy.

Just kidding around but seriously I put my aunts but not ants on
the social level.

Erin
