I very much enjoyed the excerpt from 'Jitterbug Perfume.' Thanks for
taking the trouble to share it with us. I was particularly struck by the
following passages:

> Flowers have always lived in an information technology.

The consciousess-like activities of plants support my belief that
'experience' is not something that magically emerges from the structural
complexity of neurons in the brain as many scientists like to tell us, but
rather that both animals and plants 'tap into' a 'field' of universal
'experience' and take from it the attributes (such as information
processing) they need to survive. If one thinks of this 'field' as consisting
of value patterns, the MOQ fits right in.

In any case, thanks for posting the excerpt.
