Hi All:
Would someone care to explain the "goon out" phenomena surrounding
Elvis Presley in terms of the MOQ? Twenty-five years after his death
thousands still visit Graceland as if it were a religious shrine. From my
value perspective, the man was a mediocre singer at best, his jiggling
gyrations on stage were a throwback to the biological level, and the
lyrics to his songs mostly consisted of mindless repetitions. I can see
no redeeming social or intellectual value in the man and his work, but I
must be missing something.
Anyone?
