Hi Matt,
The only things I know about Rorty come from what you have written, so I'll
accept all you say in that regard (and your comment about passing theories
is intriguing). But the philosophy course you're on does seem excessively
narrow. If you do want to get stuck into Wittgenstein himself, the Ray Monk
biography is the best place to start (as I'm always saying!!!!!). I'd be
happy to give further pointers if they were ever wanted (Wittgenstein is one
of the things I've studied at post-grad level).
