first of all, congratulations on the emergence of your Metaphysics of
Meaning. i have really just given it a once over and will comment on just a
couple things for now. you wrote:

Fintan, the only perceivable quality is static quality. i am not too familar
with your pattern recognition algorithm but i suspect it is similar to the
experiments i outline in my Forces of Value in the Metaphysics of Quality
paper, and therefore mostly social level patterns of value.
the way i see under-stand it, a Quality Event is not "caused" in the manner
we normally think of cause and effect to occur. Dynamic Quality and static
quality are not a product of the Quality Event, but rather the two result in
the continual unfolding of the moment in a self regenerating fashion and in
a way, could be said to be causing themselves. Dynamic Quality and static
quality and their interactions dance in a constructive/destructive within
both the subject and the object as logical social constructs of reality.
actually i think you are saying much the same thing as i am but i think you
need to limit your use of linear evolution in favor of continually
evolving/de-volving forces of value at odds with each other within the four
levels of the Metaphysics of Quality. also your use of Dynamic Quality needs
to be revised, in my opinion.

Fintan, i sense this is giving you some problems with your Metaphysics of
Meaning as well. the intellect does not follow any static pattern in a
constructive fashion like the Saint fails to follow social patterns of value
in the Diocese. the Saint is driven by the ability to transcend subjectively
objectifying the universe and move into a realm of perceiving un-patternings
of value by using the intellect.
we think of our great civilizations and all our creations and we attribute
them to the human intellect. nothing could be further from the truth. the
intellect opposes all that in pursuit of freedom. i already mentioned it in
an email to Rick and earlier here, but i just started a paper on forces of
value in the Metaphysics of Quality and the link is attached to the bottom
of my email. its very raw yet and i have much work to do on it, but the idea
is there perhaps.
