RE: MD rules relevance and hijacking

Greetings,

Knowing Horse as I do and having rightly congratulated him more than once on all his hard work and
great ideas, both in terms of subject input and organisational skills, I know that he will take this
as constructively as it is meant.

If the LS wants to place restrictions UPON ITS OWN MEMBERS then that is fine by me but those
restrictions should not apply to MD members 'per se'. Said restrictions could include a rule in the
LS charter stating that ITS members cannot post here on the same subject currently under discussion
over there. I don't see why I, as an MD member, should have to defer to our sister group on any
issue and I'm certainly not going to scan the archive every time I feel like posting here, lest I
tread on its toes.

I make no comment upon how the LS conducts itself, as a non-subscriber that is none of my business,
but methinks this is a topic for the other forum to sort out and not really relevant to us on the MD
list.

Therefore I would ask that you adjust your request from:

"I would make a final request to MD members to wait until the end of
the months discussion on the LS before taking it up over here and
**please** do not to cross-post. "

to:

"I would make a final request to LS members to wait until the end of the months discussion on the LS
before taking it up over on the MD list and **please** do not to cross-post."

then place it on the LS forum where it will be seen by its target audience.

Struan
