    Hi Jonathan, Wim

    DAVOR
The static patterns are static because they proofed themselves to
be of high quality, so the longer a static pattern of value seem to last
the higher the quality is. This creates a huge contradiction in my
understanding of the Moq, the contradiction between how the receptiveness to
change relates to the unreceptiveness of some high quality static patterns.
    The
quality of a pattern is thus determined by the time it lasts which in is
    determined by the pragmatic <usability>.

    JONATHAN replies:
This is the paradigm by which science works, or least that is how it is
    according to Karl Popper.
For something to be considered a scientific hypothesis, it must be
"falsifiable". That means that the hypothesis can be tested (by experiment)
    and
rejected if the results are different from what the hypothesis predicts.
A good scientific theory is one which produces hypotheses that
    repeatedly stand up to tests.

    Davor:
I am not really familiar with Popper but I did know about the principle. The
paradigm might explain why intellectual patterns can look so static it means
it is not easy to falsify. Though not familiar with Popper, I do know that
his ideas are misinterpreted in many cases applying his ideas while not
apliccable. I am wondering if you think this paradigm also applies to other
issues that are not empirically measurable(the latching of science?). Is for
instance democracy falsifiable? Or truth? Has the MOQ as a whole falsified
    SOM?

    Wim:
So we can distinguish patterns of values by there location on a gliding
scale of more/less stability/versatility AND we can do so by the way in
    which they are maintained/latched.

    Davor:

That is actually a very well thought argument, I think that solves my
problem. The versatility does not mean it is actually receptive to change,
that was I was looking for, thanks.

    Greetz Davor
