    Hello Wim,
Thank you for reminding me of what i say, for i should never remember
    otherwise!
    Your poem is beautiful.

I apologise for my rambling nature, and i sincerely wish to answer your
questions. So, without more of a do, here we go...

Wim: 'National identity is of dubious quality these days anyway. Don't
    you agree?'
Peter: Yes, i agree. Quite simply, i totally agree.

Wim: I didn't express having taken offence, did I?
Peter: No you did not. Thank you.

Wim: And you are still dodging the reason for your rather ridiculous
suspicion (9/11 8:26 -0500) that Steve would be Bo in disguise.
Peter: Dear Wim, i wish to make it clear that i have no intention of dodging
this question. Again, i apologise for rambling away from your question. The
reason for my suspicion is to be found in a comparison of Bo's and Steve's
rhetorical style. Both display an affectation of sophistication that i feel
to be low Quality. For example, both Bo and Steve begin replies by assuring
their subject they have produced work of excellence. Now the thing is Wim, if
one expresses an ability to distinguish excellence, then it may be
appropriate to enquire as to the credentials of the individual making the
judgement. In the case of Bo and Steve, both individuals have no qualifying
authority on the matter of excellence, and their appropriation of the
authority is purely self imposed. In other words, they have, 'Set themselves
    up.'
Indeed, the affectation of Quality by the culture in which Phaedrus lived
significantly contributed his problems. It is very difficult to live with low
Quality masquerading as high Quality. That is the Quality perception i have
of Bo - his rhetoric privileges himself as one with authority on the matter
of excellence, while at the same time displaying little artistic
sophistication. It feels repulsive, and if you will forgive the hyperbole, it
    feels disgusting.
I hope this answers my ridiculous suspicion? If you wish for more in the way
of explanation i would be happy to provide it. You may wish to reflect upon
the wide berth Steve has given me since his arrival? He does not include me
in his responses and, ironically, he dodges my questions and the points i
raise. If you insist that i should answer your questions, should not Steve
address mine? Or am i being ridiculous again?

    Peter.
