Hey Glenn. Some questions:
(1) Where is this "devil" quote? It sounds familiar, but I haven't been
able to track down the text. Could you come up with a citation?
(2) Do you think you might be taking that language a bit too literally? I
think it's pretty clear the MoQ excludes the actual existence of
religious-style demons and deities. I'm willing to bet the farm Pirsig was
speaking metaphorically about bad habits and such when he said the devil is
biological pattern. Are you genuinely suggesting that you believe Pirsig
meant to include "the Devil incarnate" as a biological pattern? Or are you
just bustin' our chops?
