I read both works at a pretty young age as well. I'm not sure that there is
too much stuff out there like Pirsig. If by 'like Pirsig' you mean that that
it gives you an alternative way to view how the world is structured, I think
Jacques Derrida might be appropriate. His concept of deconstruction and the
way he unnerves the supposed stability/consistency of the world opened up new
ways of thinking for me.
