Hi Erin,
i was introduced to loglan in the early 70's but could not be part
of the group that Dr Brown assembled for a number of reasons. Several
friends of mine were a part of the hand picked group of students so i was
lucky enough to be allowed to follow their process closely until it fell
apart after several months. i like the idea of having a language that one
can use to say things without ambiguity or confusion. It's a good option to
have in ones tool bag to use if one chooses. While the group was together
my friends would explain simple rules and then quiz me. It was amazing how
quickly i learned to spell loglan words that i had never heard of before but
even more interesting was my ability to know what the words meant.
Having more than one language can be a beautiful thing, or not. i would like
to observe as well as participate in a moq discussion using such a tool.
(loglan) If the language works as intended perhaps we would start seeing
next level reality shifts; a consequence of agreement and clarity.
If there is any truth though in what David B says about what it takes to
have "good conversations" we may suffer the consequences of being in
agreement for a change.
