Hi Marsha,
there is no equivalent for Nihilism in any Eastern language by my
knowledge, Nihilism is a European, Western 'phenomena'; 'nihilism' in
a Nietzschean sense is the devaluation, the collapse of all values,
that is the 'Christian morality'(values) and the Greek heritage of the
search for truth. 'If God is dead, everything is permitted'
