Wim, DMB, Davor,
I still fill puzzled about this put you are helping
Wim so just few more questions..
>Pirsig used it in a specific MoQ context. Building on Pirsig's usage,
>'degeneracy' in my version of the MoQ means falling back on a 'lower' static
>latch when a static pattern of value dissolves.
ERIN: ok
I see no paradox, unless you mistake the two levels of meaning of 'life'.
'Life' understood as a biological pattern of value is not the same as the
life of an individual organism. 'Life of an individual organism' understood
as a (smaller scale) biological pattern of value is not the same as the life
of one of its constituent parts.
ERIN: ok that helped
I think maybe I was confusing them.
So with the big "Life" I just have one more
question.
Is "Life" increasing overall?
If it is then it seems Quality is increasing?
If not then how does it keep balanced--the only way
I could see that if sq was becoming more static
and dq was becoming more dynamic.
Thanks,
erin
P.S. monkey tail's or what? I always feel left
in suspense:-)
