    You were led to this example, presumably, from a Personal Growth Seminar, not Pirsig. Nowhere in Pirsig does it say anything about putting your groceries back where you found them. What Pirsig says is lead a good life and you can find that message in a lot of places, Krishnamurti for one. This "living of integrity" is no more a MoQ act or part of a MoQ method, then that we call it that. As I said before, "What Pirsig helps us do is clarify in our own minds what might help us make Quality decisions in the future."

    Yes your right, but to say that it is no more an MoQ act than that we call it that, surely that is my interpretation of MoQ. After Davids post suggesting that maybe we try another discussion group I went back to the MOQ page and had a look at the charter and I can't see that we're doing anything wrong. I want to understand Pirsigs' work, I have no university training, I came to Zamm and Lila as a Motorcyclist not a philosophy major, therefore I haven't done the reading that most of you have done.I will try to rectify but it's going to take some time.

    Your posts, I find, are the most helpful, constructive and comprehensible even if I don't agree with everything you say. As I get more time to devote to this study I hope to ask better researched questions in the mean time can you just answer my stupid ones?

    I think what's been happening with the questions being asked by Mari, Rudy, Paul and myself is that they are a different style of question. Do you think what we have here is a Classic-Romantic split in how we have come to appreciate Pirsigs' work?
