    The way you phrased your response got me thinking that
    you may just have nailed down part of the difficulty.
    EXPECTATIONS! They seem to play a very important part
    in the social agreement of SOM. Could it be that following
    MoQ one simply uses the SQ appropriately as foundation
    and pursues DQ without expectation or bothering with
    asking permission?

    It would seem that with awareness the hazards of SOM,
