On the surface this may appear insignificant, but I think it's
    important. Concerning your <analogy>:

The shore isn't static, not by a long-shot. Each wave lapping up
against the shoreline changes it; every bird landing on the shoreline
changes it; troops storming the shore change it; oil spills, volcanic
eruptions, earthquakes, your ship launching; each of these changes the
    shoreline significantly.

    Makes precision long-term navigation difficult.

    Also:

"Synchronicity?! Nope, it's a freakin' kosmic joke. If I didn't know
the bald dude I would've junked the article. You would too if you live
in Boulder, where the ratio of Yoga instructors to students is 5:1."

    Which one are you?

    Best regards,

    Chuck
