I cannot speak for Mark of course but I'll try and give you my take.

I just posted my evaluation of his thesis.
I find Ham's thesis to be very well constructed and the writing to be
excellent. What bothers me about the it however is the content. I
cannot help but wonder why someone with the talent shown is wasting
time dealing with what I see as social level political issues of the
day and calling it philosophy. In a hundred years, who's going to
care? That same notion bothers me to a degree with Noam Chomsky's
work so you're in good company anyway.
msh says:
Dan, Dan, Dan. The work of two people couldn't be further apart. How
many of your 6,000 books were written by NC? I won't turn this into
a defense of Chomsky thread, except to say that we can add together
all the contributions of all the people who have ever posted to the
MOQ forums, (or who will ever post to them in the future) and still
not approach NC's contributions to our understanding of human
cognition, human dignity, and human freedom.
BTW, thanks for the links to Popper and Falsification. I enjoyed
them very much, and will comment further.
Best,
Mark Steven Heyman (msh)
