Hi Platt / Erin N
Thanks for responses.
I'll get straight to your answers to my questioning. - The differing
conceptions of progress and quality advancement will indeed differ. It's
good to point this out. The failure of static latching in (let's call it)
mystical intellectual valuing is also a good answer. Is the dynamism and
static latching of mile high skyscrapers, heated car seats and chocolate
flavoured crisps (however awful - no matter how dynamic) any better than the
dynamism of living a life free from material and intellectual wealth -
wandering and exploring on the Zen mountain tops? Of course, this second
kind of dynamism would be so poor under the falling moonlight, unlike the
man in the fast lane in his costly Jaguar sports car under the falling neon
lights...
Platt - might I suggest that dynamic and static quality are of equal
importance at all times.
I see it's up to ourselves to decide which routes are best.
Regards,
Zykaine.
