Utter nonsense, but a nice "dodge and redirect" dialectial manuever. Its the
message that should have been, is being, and has been challenged and debunked.
Its the outright lying that has occured in these ads that's rightfully being
attacked.
But since conservatives can't lie, I guess all they can see it as is "ad
hominem" attacks.
This is what I said before. If it's a conservative message, pro-Bush or
anti-Kerry, it must be right. If anyone challenges this, it must be ad hominem,
since we can never question the message.
Anyone with any sense of honesty should be critical of the SBVs ads. If it was
anti-Bush, you can bet Platt and the right would be all over it with cries of
"lies and deceitful leftist propaganda".
Why not apply that great critical reasoning skill universally, instead of only
against the "radical leftists"? Can't "radical rightists" be just as
deceitful???
If "The Nation" is leftist, and "The Weekly Standard" is rightist, why believe
either one without critical thought. If one would lie to promote their
political agenda, you can bet the other one would too... correct?
Or does that make the issue to un- black and white?
