Platt: I think you're onto what I've also seen as a problem with the MOQ,
    only
you have explained it better than I -- a lack of recognition of the
individual due to a pervasive "collectivist conception of man." I have
argued to change the intellectual level to the individual level in order
to represent man's moral elevation from tribalism to individual liberty,
when a man is recognized and revered as an end in himself, not the means
    to the ends of others.

    Hi Platt, Ham, and all,

joe: i see the MOQ in terms of the Little Prince's drawing. The boa
constrictor, moq, has swallowed the elephant som. The form of som is
obscured by the body of the constrictor. To me it is important to see the
body of the constrictor correctly before I approach the individual elephant
in the room which no one wants to talk about. I fully appreciate Ian's
position on logic, since who would have thought that a boa constrictor could
    swallow an elephant.

Of course, whales have been known to swallow Noah, etc., so I suspect the
whale of dq to swallow the boa constrictor swallowing the elephant, but I
don't draw very well. Communication is a problem.

    Joe
