Hello Platt:
Thanks for saying so. The "game" you've
identified seems part and parcel of the
trend in society writ large to confuse
criticism of something with creativity.
It is a creeping pervasive view and it
seems to take joy in stifling real
creativity; it is SQ eating DQ.
thanks--mel

Thanks for putting Injun history in broader perspective. The game among
academics today is to identify a group of victims and then blame the
white
man for their troubles, making certain to maintain political correctness
along the way by bowing relentlessly before the god of "sensitivity."
You
rightly pegged it a "comfortable stuckness" and then summed it up well:
"Where do we find the Dynamic? Because it sure ain't here in this lowest
common denominator of guilt ridden and backwards looking media fed, over
schooled, under educated, constantly entertained, electronic game fed .
.
(pardon the outburst but surely there is something better.)
