So for me a big question is, how do I live a more conscious life? I am

    Hi MarshaV,

When I read this, I thought of a movie, it may have been 'Star Man' or
something entirely different; i don't know. In the movie, the alien tried an Apple
Pie. His first taste stopped everything else he was conscious of. His total
consciousness was focused on this pie.

The same feeling comes through in other things, such as a mild summer day
when a cool wind blows. Whether or not we experience it is only a question of
whether or not we allow ourselves to experience it.

The second example may not seem like much to most, but this feeling, or the
lack of this feeling caused me to take a job making two-thirds as much, and
having to endure the extreme cold and extreme heat (to a degree) of the other
days, just so I could be there when this happened.

Maybe what you speak of is recognizing DQ in SQ. It only becomes static
quality if you allow it to.
