Hi mel,
In the previous reply, I made a funny. I said;
>>>"If we think of it in this way, then we do not know when a Quality event
has changed us or the world. It is only in retrospect. When the inorganic
created the organic, it might have said to itself -- "What did I do?" Looking up
at this intellectual society, it may be asking itself -- "Damn(!?!), what
did I do?" :o)"<<<
I doubt I need to qualify this statement as humor to you, but to some, who
might offer the idea that the correct term "Biological," and inorganic
patterns are objective patterns -- not subjective, so there is no 'Awareness of
change' in the objective patterns. The 'Awareness of change' would be limited to
the subjective patterns -- social and intellect.
The reason I write this is that I remember reading someone questioning the
ability of inorganic and biological patterns to be aware of change.
Let me apologize to anyone who may not have recognized this as humor.
