I was once a Conservative. But that was long ago when I possessed
trust. Now I am a snarling cynic. Was I a soft-headed woman when my first
priority was my family and there was little energy left over for
politics? I was brought up to believe my country was right. I was brought
up when it was thought a good man was one who spoke plain talk. Now
everyone seem to be an actor.

I don't want to denigrate trust, so there is nothing to say.
