I agitated to change the intellectual level to the individual level to
emphasize that intellect is limited to individuals, one individual at a
time. There's no such thing as group or social intellect. I had other
reasons, too, but wasn't able to sell anyone on making the change. So I've
dropped it. The Code of Art level was hinted at by Pirsig. I think it will
be the next evolutionary step, but unfortunately I won't be around to see
it. Maybe one of my paintings will survive long enough to be a part of it.
Best,
Platt
