    Watt--catalyst of the industrial revolution
    Edison--powered countless social changes
    Ford--increased personal mobility and freedom
    Bell--spread communication across wide areas
    Marconi--made the world smaller
    Jenner--reduced death from disease via vaccination
    Wright Bros.--increased speed of travel
    Wells--leap forward in medicine with use of anesthesia
    Gates--made power of computers available to everyone
    Rembrandt--made visual man's spiritual nature
    Michelangelo--ditto
    Louis Armstrong--made audible man's spiritual nature
    Beethoven--ditto
    Pirsig--established reality as a moral order by creating the MoQ
    Horse--makes possible Internet discussion of the MoQ
    Glover--further disseminated the MoQ in book form
