Hi Chin:
The definition of "intuition" From Merriam-Webster:
>
> "1 : quick and ready insight
> 2 a : immediate apprehension or cognition b : knowledge or conviction
> gained by intuition c : the power or faculty of attaining to direct
> knowledge or cognition without evident rational thought and inference"
> (Platt) Intuition is knowledge, cognition without thought, or as I've said, what we
> know before we know anything else.
> Chin)I would agree intuition is before conscious thought, but not above
> abilities of conscious thought; just abilities of conscious knowing.
>
> Though there was a little wink, wink, style sarcasm in that statement, it
> was not meant to deny the fact that philosophology has confused concepts
> such as intuition. I feel we may have been better off if the philosophers

(Platt) I'm also beginning to believe it's best to leave the meaning of
intuition alone. We know what it is, but like Beauty, we can't really
define it. Mysticism is like that, too. Certainly on this forum we've seen
many different versions of what mysticism means, ranging from common
everyday experience to a transformative awakening.

I've noticed on several occasions that you've said the answers to moral
questions and other knowledge is "in" us if we only look deep enough
within. Why do you suppose we have this knowledge deep down? Is it because
we are made by Cosmic Intelligence?
