What really strikes horror in us all is that a U.S. judge could condemn an
innocent woman to die a slow death guarded by police who prevented anyone
from putting a drop of water to her lips, and have a select group of other
judges go along with that him, arrogantly ignoring the elected
representatives of the people who advised the judiciary to look at the
case anew because of the behavior and conflict of interest of an
    adulterous husband.
