It was an offhand remark stating my position about postmodernist theory as
defined by Rorty and others. I've expressed my views about postmodernism
in detail in posts of a year or so ago. I don't see that there's much to
be gained by regurgitating my arguments. If you like postmodernist theory
and find it "patently true," that's fine. We can agree to disagree. As for
"attacking when you can build," it's often necessary to demolish old
structures before you can replace them with better ones.
