Hi Paul,

Paul: If you really want to do this, you shouldn't quote anyone in
particular.
msh 7-26-05:
I think you're being a little over-sensitive. I was really
responding to this one part of one sentence:
"Dynamic advances happen individually..."
which I see as the underlying belief of those who think the human
Individual is the be-all and end-all of existence. I have read your
posts carefully, and know very well that you aren't one who so
believes. That's why I didn't mention you by name.
However, you're right, I should not have pasted the whole paragraph.
I apologize if you thought the post was directed at you. It wasn't,
which I thought would have been clear by my opening remarks.
Since the rest of your response is to the mistaken idea (my fault)
that I was referring to you, I think we can let it go.
However I must say, and this IS directed at you, I find it odd that
you can get so emotional about a technical misunderstanding, yet you
are, apparently, unmoved to comment about some of the truly vile,
anti-humanitarian remarks posted to this list, of late.
Thanks for Aug-2004 post which I remember well.
Best,
Mark Steven Heyman (msh)
