Paul, Sam (and Platt),
Platt, Paul says it so much more eloquently (and very well too), but
the only point I was making to you is in here.
The terrorist "event" may be purely physical / biological, and
amenable to black and white analysis, but the "terrorism" is a complex
thing across the socio-cultural and intellectual levels too, and (even
Paul) has no off the shelf answers. Ignoring that is typically all I
object to in your analyses.
Thanks Paul, I may come back on some detail, if I get the time, but it
looks good.
