Hi all.
Marsha,
I agree.
Having just returned from a retreat myself I think this is one thing
which is in some need of attention. I have actually been thinking of
writing a paper on this very topic. Do you have anything more you
would like to say on the matter? Is there anyone else who would like to
say something on this?
Perhaps to get us started I'll write my MOQ related answer to each of
your questions which needed them, below:
Marsha: But where is the Dynamic Quality that Zen offers? Where is the
turning away from, the letting go of, attachment?
Not on this board much. Mystics too busy not saying anything.
Marsha: Where are the instructions, methods and suggestions to reach the
place for experiencing that everything is connected to everything and a
broader perspective?
Presently, in the Zendo or equivalent.
Marsha: And how can this be cultivated in ourselves and offered to all
in the Social and Intellectual levels?
It can be taken home from the Zendo.
Marsha: Is the Metaphysics of Quality to become just another headache,
all heat and no quality?
With it's name, I think not. When? My lifetime? Yours? Two Generations
from now? My suggestion is to cultivate yourself and it will be sooner
rather than later.
Cheers for the timely spiel Marsha,
-David
