Paul: I'm not trying to obscure or muddle anything. Quite the opposite.
I'm concerned about the destination of a cycle of violence which threatens
to define my daughter's generation, if not mine. I don't think an end to
the cycle will occur without removing some of the major causes. If you
disagree with my analysis of the causes please engage me in a courteous
discussion. If you sincerely think, like Platt, that killing all _______
like germs is the answer, define _______ and how we can identify all _______
without destroying people who aren't _______. Then tell me how _______ will
stop being produced.
Until you are able to do this your posts on this topic are heading straight
to the junk folder.

Paul, I feel your frustration. Just use the Carousel of Faux
Philosophy; that's why it's there.
BTW to all, I've noticed that the bigots and western-jingoists are
self-documenting in the "Racist Remarks' thread. That was the plan,
of course. Keep it up boys; saves me a lot of time.

"The liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth
of private power to the point where it becomes stronger than the
democratic state itself. That in its essence is fascism — ownership of
government by an individual, by a group or any controlling private
power."
