    My favorite teachers that taught politics were ones that you couldn't tell what their political stance was.....which is another reason why I am impressed with Pirsig's writing. I think it is so funny that Platt and people like Ant, DMB, MSH both align their political views with Pirsig political views.

    Both Pirsig and I rebel against 20th century intellectuals who fail to
    recognize much less understand the social/biological conflict..His format
    was a book called "Lila," especially Chapters 22 and 24. My format is
    here. But I come nowhere close to his depth and breadth in matters
    metaphysical and aesthetic.
