    I've had little doubt since I first encountered Nietzsche, that it was
    the dynamic above the static he was referring to. His main attraction
    - breaking eggs - appeals to revolutionaries everywhere, who fail to
    spot that his dynamic was evolution not revolution. Very well aligned
    with MoQ from the start.

    In fact one of my earliest ever posts was a question, basically "Why
    doesn't Pirsig refer to Nietzsche in his work ?"

    Bo, in your note ... quoted by Ant, are you saying "intellect as
    mind/matter generator" is the thing renounced, but which we must hang
    on to.

    (In which case I suspect Sam's "eaudaimonia" and you SOL are both
    trying to fix the same problem with intellect - just thinking out
    loud.) My main thesis at the moment is that "information underlies
    both consciousness and physics" - As a word "intellect" is proving
    problematic. (All roads lead back to the mind/matter "problem")
