Mark, bear with me, you're trying to read too much .... that's all ...
on all points you actually say you agree ... (Remember this was a
purely linguistic caveat, a side issue.)
(1) There are different perspectives. You agree.
(2) You say static / dynamic is one difference between two
perspectives. I don't disagree. Clearly basic MoQ stuff.
(3) You point out my two examples are both static perspectives. I
agree (and as you say, they'd have to be, that's the only kind we can
communicate, and I agree. See later)
(4) Therefore, to use a piece of simple logic, static / dynamic is not
the only choice of perspectives.
(5) You suggest the primacy of perspective should be the highest level
of evolutionary advancement. I'd agree, the creation of a tablet of
stone, and any writing on it are more advanced evolution-wise than the
stone itself - so primarily social / intellectual rather than physical
/ inorganic. (This choice of perspective is in fact the basic
hierarchy of the MoQ itself.)
Right, so, moving on ...
Given (3) above I say we need yet more choice of perspective.
We have dynamism - Dynamic / Static
We have evolution - Inorganic / Biological / Social / Intellectual
I think another is lingusitc. Without some alternative linguistic
conventions, as you point out, we can only discuss "static"
perspectives, with stable, understood shared language. Not
surprisingly, my trying to describe anything else is proving pretty
unintelligible. I don't need to apologise for that, and you don't need
to agree with me, beyond agreeing that there is an issue here ?
