    For many issues like gun control...you can categorize
    it as an either for or against and you can also place
    somebody on a spectrum. It just two ways to frame the
    same question. No it is not only the independents
    that see it as a spectrum...which is why all Democrats
    are not equally liberal or Republicans equally
    conservative.
