That is what is all about, yes. It isn't just about consenting adults
entering into marriage together because they want to, it is about one man
joining one woman to become fully human.
I'm wondering if my first post was ignored because it was low quality?
It's frustrating to see people continue to talk about marriage as though it
was just something people want to do. In my state, it is a requirement in
order to have sexual intercourse. The state is certainly justified in
controlling the circumstances of our births, since we can't really control
it ourselves. And the state is certainly justified in promoting equality
for men and women, fertile or not, by encouraging men and women to marry.
