    Squonk,

[Squonk:] You may be thinking, 'He's avoiding the issue! That's not fair!' However, we have said allot already, and its really all there having been said? I feel the era we have been discussing is a new method of intellectual manipulation, you feel it has more significance in the evolution of the Human psyche?
If that is a fair summation then perhaps we can agree we both have different views?

Yes, that is a fair summation, and ok, we can agree we both have different views.

On Wilber, I take good ideas -- or in this case good pithy summations of good ideas -- where I can get them, but overall I am lukewarm on Wilber. In this case, what he calls the pre/trans fallacy, is a nice phrase to refer to, for example, Pirsig's analysis of the hippies who thought they were being free and spontaneous, but were actually just reverting to the biological level.

      Hi Scott,
I was wondering how long it would be before Wilber reared his pate?
My repertoire of concepts is dominated by the intellectual pattern of the MoQ. It's doing a good job for me at the moment and i hope i can get some feedback as to how my view tally's with those of others.

But i must leave the Wilber chat to you and those who value it. If you find it helpful today - and i mean this very day you are alive and here to read these words - then i feel that is wonderful. Because you see, that is what DQ/SQ tension does for me all the time and does with increasing urgency.
