    Johnny asked:
    > Sam, isn't Eudaimonia another word for "gay", in the literal sense?
    Rick,
    > isn't this why you insist that your "4th level" love is so compatible
    with
    > homosexuality?

Now I'm a slow reader, and even set Lila aside for many other things,
but here my experience bears more weight than my reading and analysis.

I did not interpret the essay heading up this eudaimonia topic,
    http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/elizaphanian/unmediated.htm
as particularly gay related. But it did counter someone else's
assumption that there can be no unmediated experiences.

My own attempts to exposit a case of such "direct gnosis," which
presented as a non-linguistic acting out during psychosis for me,
    in "Heroic Alterity",
    http://home.earthlink.net/~glenn_scheper/heroic.htm
and "The Word of God; The Production of Christ".
    http://home.earthlink.net/~glenn_scheper/theword.htm
do attribute its causation to chance discovery of autofellatio,
and attempt to re-read such works as Metamorphosis, Hamlet, and
many other classic poets and prophets in light of this knowledge.

Upon finding another arcane fellow in female Emily Dickinson, I wrote:
Emily Dickinson, evidencing autocunnilingus, proves the epistemological
advantage of men is a mere six inch head start to the table of the soul.

A psychiatrist sex-therapist recounted how female students considered
an autofellator to be homosexual, but the men called such a man lucky.

I do not consider this monadic sex act to be determinative of a label
regarding dyadic preferences. I know a gay autofellator. I am not gay.
Knowing "tolerance is only ever nominal" I wondered if failure to try
homosexuality constitutes a condemnation of it; but rather I decided,
it was excluded by the preexistance of my heterosexual relationship.

So, there is a category of behaviour that might be labeled with one
of many "love" terms, at the core of theology, that you have omitted.

    Yours truly,
    Glenn Scheper
