It is a shame that you voiced your agreement with squonk that "the claim
that ancient Greece saw the emergence of subjects and objects is quite
frankly ludicrous" under the heading "racism in the forum." I would have
done it under a different heading. Since squonk had recently solicited
support for his charge of racism against Bo in this thread, such support
would seem to support squonk's charge of racism. I hope that would be an
incorrect inference and that you will be clear on whether "being with
squonk" means that you also think that Bo is deliberately promoting racism
and whether such accusations are appropriate to our discussion group.
Hi Steve,
joe: I have attempted to describe the elements I see as needed for an
instinctive sensing of reality. One of those elements is an 'awareness'
generated by my DNA. That awareness creates a S/O divide. Therefore the
S/O divide is as individual as each of us. The pattern I use for
communication with others based on that S/O divide can be distorted since
aspects of that pattern may come from my individuality. Others only trust
that what I say is true. To say the Greeks saw "the emergence of subjects
and objects is quite frankly ludicrous", yet by force of arms they managed
to impose this fallacy on others. This was a "severe emphasis- a world
shattering mistake of making these divisions permanent like the Gods.".
As to the charge of 'racism' you seem to be emphasizing it by paying
attention to it. Other charges have been made on the list, and they go
away. If something seems to me to be well said, I hope I can express my
approval.
