    Hi Matt

Certainly as a student of intellectual history, it is key to be able
to tell some kind of coherent story of the moves we have played
out to date. It is this story telling/ telling a good/plausible story that
is the basis of our understanding post-essentialism,
    post-representationalism. Given interpretation
all the way down, I nevertheless think there is alot of progress to be made
    in terms of
constructive knowledge, and playing off the conflicts between langauge games
    in the
direction of greater interpretational consistency and unity.

    regards
    David M

biologically, socially, culturally a possibility at this time. Clearly, in
more dangerous times, in a period with no promise of epic productive powers,
pople were bound to seek certainty and security, and hence SOM was a product
of this. Now we can consider it. It goes along with the uniqueness of modern
individuality. But dangers from global inequality, and the barbarism being
    exercised to maintain it.
