    Matt

Good, this is a key point, a static pattern to refer to what cannot
be defined. Of course Derrida has tried 'differance' and Heidegger
tried 'Being' crossed out or under erasure. But DQ suits me, a static
phrase to point over the horizon, a sort of bent line, and Pirsig does a
good job using the word quality, if we can ever pin that down we would
be far more advanced than we are now, well done Mr Pirsig,
Heidegger/Derrida -could do better on this one.

    regards
    David M

Simply saying the words are an attempt to literalize the unliteralizable.
So, when I say that DQ is a compliment we pay after the fact, I'm saying
that Dynamic Quality is a static pattern that we use to try and make sense
of an experience that does not make sense within any established pattern.
