Please don't apologize for your "lack of intellect", I think you have spoken very eloquently.

RycheWorld@aol.com wrote:That's exactly my point! The "American" ways aren't always the "best". I mean - does the overall way Americans see freedom apply to all countries...and more precisely all cultures? I, personally, do not think so. I have travelled to other countries, Saudi Arabia and Iraq specifically, and I can tell you that their beliefs are different than ours. This doesn't mean that their ways are good or bad, that's a matter of opinion. But for us "righteous" Americans, if we're so freedom-oriented and "better-knowing" as to what another country needs than we really need to open our eyes. I fear this will come back to haunt us.
And, looking at our own country, when will another country invade us because we have certain problems that they don't? That'd be fair, right?
I apologize for my lack of intellect, persay. I am just disgusted with the way we see fit to destroy others at a cost of what we want to label as "freedom". I went over there for the first "war" and I am very upset with our leadership right now. It seems like I, and my fellow brothers in arms, put myself in harms way and took on a lot of pain and suffering because Bush wants a war.
