Bo: I agree most vehemently with Wim here, this is as philosophy
discussion and supposed to be based on (some) thinking, not
mere chatting.
Well, that is your preference. I am not asking to destroy the MoQ mailing
list, but to create something APART from it.
And if you hold all conversation to be "mere chatting", than that reflects
on YOU. I can only speak for myself, but I don't live around many
people who are aware of the MoQ, and thus, I can not have open discussion in
person with anyone I know. The only person I know, is in fact
still reading ZMM because I gave them my copy of it, so our discussion is
limited.
There is a distinct difference between conversational discussion, and
corresponding, like what we are doing now.
If you do not wish to be a part of it, thats fine.
But to oppose it with _vehemence_, and an air of hostility, and (seeming)
superiority, when there is no need for it, is uncalled for.
You seem to be denouncing the whole idea , as beneath you. There are many
possiblities which become more easily attainable,
in a 'real-time' discussion. If your a too far from where I live, I'm not
asking to wake yourself in the middle of the night to discuss.
