Hi Charles. The degeneracy of the Hippie movement is due to q-Biology
attempting to overcome q-Society and q-Intellect. Any time a lower level
dominates a higher level it can be called degeneracy. The problem with the
Hippies is they confused q-Biology with DQ. This confusion is easy to see,
since q-Biology is so apparent where DQ is damned evasive.
