    Dear Platt,
The environmental impact of prolonged Human activity does not limit itself to
    the issue of Global warming.
It may be difficult to distinguish Human influenced environmental impact from
ongoing Geophysical fluctuations? But Ozone depletion, for example, is not a
Geophysical fluctuation. Neither is Acid rain or Pesticide, heavy metal, or
radioactive patterns in the food chain.

That prolonged Human activity must aim at maintaining Planetary biospherical
diversity is sadly not the real state of affairs - and i know of no scientific
law which says that it should be?

However, i feel the MoQ does endorse Planetary biospherical diversity for the
    following reasons:
Planetary biospherical diversity may be said to be the sum total of all
Organic patterns - the static repertoire of all Organic patterns if you will, which
provides the basis for continued evolution - the static repertoire is the
result of an ongoing, evolving event stream. As such, it has reached and
maintained a coherent relationship with DQ.
Prolonged Human activity has disrupted the coherent state of the static
repertoire, rather in a similar way to that in which a Geophysical 'catastrophe'
may have done. Significantly, Geophysical disruptions, while unfortunate, are
not the result of deliberate Human activity. I find it difficult to understand
why anyone should wish for Humanity to visit a catastrophe upon itself.

    All the best,
    Mark
