Hey all Quality minded people,
I read with some dismay about the new pill that will
curb your apettite for food and cigarettes, and
wondered why I was so troubled about it. Then I
realized in a moment that such a pill would be met
with disdain if people at large embraced the MOQ as
they most certainly should. This pill is the most
un-Quality invention of an SOM dominated society that
I can think of, because it caters to the modern
obsessions with "health" and "longevety", versions of
static quality that do their best to snuff out Dynamic
Quality. What, afterall, can be more immediate and
gratifying than the experience of a juicy steak with a
side of fries and a cold beer followed by a smoke?
Instead, people are talked into spending real money on
a tasteless (if your lucky) pill that curbs their
immediate experience of Quality, with the dubious
promise that this will tack on a few more years to
your life. I don't know about you, but if I kick off
at 80 instead of 85 I don't think I will have any
regrets.
Rich
