Dear Joe,
You wrote 22 Mar 2004 08:36:28 -0800:
'i do not know that I qualify as an apologist of Catholicism. I am happy to
present how I see Catholicism filtered through the writings of George
Gurdjieff and Robert Pirsig.'
I suggested that you might want to present Catholicism, because you wrote 19
Mar 2004 11:15:59 -0800:
'My faith follows Roman Catholic tradition.'
It's up to you to judge whether you think your presentation of Catholicism
would stand a chance when we are going to have a vote about what's the best
religion. If not, you can of course opt to participate as voter (or not at
all).
If you choose to present Catholicism, please present Catholic practice, not
theory. Cf. 'Idols', which is a competition between singers and their
performances, not between songs.
With friendly greetings,
Wim
